We were blessed to share the past 4 years with a beautiful girl, Lady Laura. Known to us as Laura, Loobie, and Laurabie, this pretty girl was our best “oldest” girl. Her face revealed her immense happiness with just being near anyone of us. Laura was never far from her people, and would sit quietly with any of us for hours just to be sure we were close. When she did sleep, it was always close to Joey, often touching paws or noses.
Her favorite game was tug, where she would always win with her surprising strength. A game of fetch was always a good time, and a few extra laps around the yard after finding the stick were always a great way to “show off”! She quickly learned from her two-legged sister Ashley how to play soccer, bouncing the ball off her nose time after time! When her Ashley was near, no one else mattered. The words walk, ride, and go would send her into a fit of excitement. To our amusement words like ghetto, pickle and flambé would do the same! Sleeping and eating were “highly over-rated” because they meant time away from the things she loved most.
Our pretty girl had a smile on her face as she left us to cross the Rainbow Bridge. She now can run, swim, ride and play tug all day with unending strength. We hope to see you again, Laura. We love you and you are so missed!
Love Always,
Ann, Jenny, Ryan and Joey
